In this video, Ellie Drake highlights that in the survival of the fittest model that our human species has learned to live by, most of us don’t really care for our health…Sure one day we will especially if that day is when we’re no longer worried about anything, when our safety is taken care of, our bills are paid, we have financial and time freedom, then we’ll care about that leaky gut, the overworked kidneys, the burdened liver, high acidity, increased inflammation, and whatever else we have to pay attention to…

In the meantime, we often wonder about the fastest, cheapest, easiest way to be thin, rich, and liked?

Yes it can be overwhelming to become aware of toxicity, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and Glyphosate which is why many of us subscribe to the “ignorance is bliss” mindset while seeing awareness as an abyss…

Most of us avoid knowing the truth because we know that as soon as we embrace true awareness about our health and our family’s health, We’ll have to change everything including replacing what’s in the cupboards, buying more expensive organic foods and even growing some of our own, letting go an antibiotic mindset and embracing a probiotic one, and making choices regarding humane, free range, grass fed, grass finished, wild caught, locally raised, eco-friendly packaging, not to mention that the non-gmo label on a product doesn’t mean it’s organic, and the time it takes to get rid of candida in the gut is astonishing…

And if we do all of this, then there’s the constant change associated with the science of wellness that we’ll have to be ok with, and oh the disappointment that comes from finding out that even organic foods are not perfect, and that whole foods is now allegedly in bed with monsanto…

This is why awareness can be an abyss…and ignorance is still a bit of bliss to many of us…

Receive inspiration as Ellie expresses that awareness is bliss once we embrace the true shift toward physical, emotional and mental health.
